About Me!

I started running in middle school as an after-school program and right from the start I loved the competition and the urge to be the fastest. My middle school training consisted of running the week before the race and then sprinting off the start line. Classic middle school move. I ran cross country throughout high school and went on to pursue lacrosse in college. After college, I decided to go back to my running roots and signed up for a half marathon. I focused on the half marathon for a couple years and finally tackled my first marathon in 2016. It’s safe to say, I fell in love with the distance! Over the next 8 years, I ran 14 more marathons and dropped my time from 3:28 to 3:01.

I trained myself those first 2 years and then trained under Mat Nark of Nark Running Strategies. I have had the pleasure of working with a great coach and part of a phenomenal running community. Even as a running nerd who eats up all things running and training, I know first hand how powerful it is to put your training in the hands of coach. Whether it be to push you hard or pull in the reigns, a coach knows what’s best for you. Sometimes you just need to hear it from someone else.
